Rawform

Privacy policy

Effective: October 2026

This policy says what happens to personal data when you use the website at www.rawform.app, and when you use the Rawform app.

Who we are

Rawform is made by Stewy McCarthy at Craftform, in Ireland. Contact: hey@craftform.studio.

The sign-up forms

The homepage has two forms for hearing when Rawform is ready. The field at the top asks for your email address. The form further down asks for your name and email address. Each also has a hidden field: if it is filled in, nothing is sent.

When you submit either one, what you entered is added to Craftform's own sign-up list, a database hosted by Neon in Frankfurt, and a short note is emailed to hey@craftform.studio through Resend. We keep it only to tell you about Rawform, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

If you switch between light and dark, the site keeps that choice in this browser, so the next visit looks the same. It is never sent anywhere.

The app

Rawform keeps your projects, notes and tasks on your Mac. You do not need an account, and nothing leaves your Mac unless you choose one of these:

  • Sync. If you sign in with a magic link, your projects, notes and tasks are stored in Neon, a hosted database, so they can sync across your Macs.
  • Summaries. When you tap the sparkle on a project, its notes and tasks are sent to Anthropic, whose model Claude writes the summary. Nothing is sent until you tap it.

Who processes it for us

  • Vercel hosts this website and counts page views.
  • Neon stores the sign-up list, and your synced data if you turn on sync.
  • Resend emails us a note for each sign-up.
  • Anthropic writes summaries, only when you ask for one.

These providers may process data outside the EU, under their own data processing terms.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, using hey@craftform.studio. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
